Industrial Control Cyber Security USA and Europe announces Keynote Speakers
California Sept 18/19th and London October 9/10th
The Cyber Senate 5th Annual Industrial Control Cyber Security Conferences will be held September 18/19th in Sacramento California and October 9/10th in London. This year's show will include Utilities, Power, Smart Grid, Water, Rail, Maritime and more.
We are pleased to announce support and partnerships with the Automation Federation and the ISA is confirmed, and attendees can count on having all of their standards questions addressed this fall.
Keynote presentations are now confirmed for both shows addressing Consequence Driven Engineering and preliminary subject matter experts announced. We are joined by Keynote Presenters Marty Edwards, Managing Director, Automation Federation, former ICS CERT Director DHS for our London UK show, and Zach Tudor, Idaho National Laboratory Associate Laboratory Director, National and Homeland Security for our Sacramento California event. Their CCE presentation details will be made public shortly.
"Cyber hygiene is not enough, the rise of IIOT and the growing threat to advanced connectivity to critical infrastructure by sophisticated attackers, has changed the risk landscape significantly. We need new approaches to security that takes into consideration new attack and response surfaces, and to reconsider our position on traditional strategies on simply isolating the network. One approach we will discuss is Consequence Driven Engineering, with the view of engineering resiliency into our systems to assist users with more capabilities to detect and respond to threats. CCE may be effective in "engineering out cyber risk" from assets that must not fail."
