Disrupting Malicious Cyber Activity Within the ICS

Cyber actors are becoming bolder in targeting the ICS that run our CIKR systems. The lines between IT and OT are blurring. We need to integrate IT and OT security and breakdown cultural barriers to be successful in protecting CIKRs. In addition, IoT devices are changing the IT and OT environment and introducing additional security concerns. As these trends continue, it’s more critical than ever for government entities and the private sector to work together to collaborate and share information. As the ICS environment morphs, we will need to relook at how we do risk management, embrace automation, evolve information sharing, and transition to an integrated active cyber defense.

This session will examine technical and operational strategies that can be employed to counter the current challenges in ICS.To learn more about this presentation visit the 3rd Annual Industrial Control Cybersecurity USA Conference this October in Sacramento California.
